Welcome to the official website for The Church of the Stone. We are located in northeastern Indiana in a small town called Wolcottville. We are a multi-denominational body of believers that stands on the word of God and the Power of the Holy Ghost. We are committed to the winning of souls for the Kingdom of Christ and to the tearing down of strong holds in the lives of all people. We are convinced that Jesus can and will forgive our sins and has prepared a place for us and will soon come and receive us unto himself.
Our Church Creed
1.) Lift up the name of Jesus at all cost.
2.) Bring the body of Christ back together.
3.) Lead the lost sheep back to the cross.
From the desk of our Pastor:
Are we what the Bible says we should be? This is a question that all of us should be asking ourselves on a daily basis. The Bible tells us that we are many things however, weak, depressed and worried are not some of them. If we strive to be led by the Spirit, it will lead us into all truth and righteousness, which will give us power and authority to be all the Bible says that we are no matter who you are, the Bible calls us blessed, overcomers and prosperous. Let us begin to walk in what the Bible says we are. Abi and I love every one of you.
Senior Pastors, Mike & Abi Stanley
Information about our church and Pastors
Pastors Mike and Abi Stanley founded the Church of the Stone in November of 1998, with the first services being held in their back yard. Although they were veterans in ministry, this was their first pastoral effort. Land was purchased in late 1999 and the process of building a ministry began. Pastors Mike and Abi have been blessed to minister in different parts of the country, as well as in Kenya and Uganda, Africa. They have ministered by television around the world. Their desire is to make a difference in the body of Christ and in the world with spirit filled preaching and powerful worship. Pastors Mike and Abi have two adult daughters Lacey and Adrianna and three granddaughters, Lillian, Alivia, and Alizabeth.
